Chicken kebab recipe | Chicken kabab recipe

Originating in the Middle East, chicken kebab is a classic meal that is now loved by people all over the world. It typically consists of marinated pieces of chicken that are skewered and grilled or roasted until tender and juicy.

Ingredients:

skinless  boneless  chicken cut in small pice

1/4 cup plain yogurt

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper, to taste

Skewers (metal or wooden)

Instructions:

Mix the yoghurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a sizable bowl.

The chicken should be added to the bowl and well coated. For at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours, marinate covered in the fridge.

Set the temperature of your grill or grill pan to medium-high.

To avoid burning, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before using.

Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a little bit of space between each piece.

Grill the skewers, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred, about 8-10 minutes.

Serve the chicken kebab with pita bread, cucumber slices, tomato slices, and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
