Pani Puri recipe

 


Pani Puri Pani is a tangy and spicy water used in the famous Indian street food Pani Puri. Here is a simple recipe to make Pani Puri Pani at home:


Ingredients:


1 cup fresh mint leaves

1 cup fresh coriander leaves

2-3 green chillies (adjust to taste)

1 inch piece of ginger

1 small onion, chopped

2 tablespoons tamarind pulp

1 tablespoon roasted cumin powder

1 tablespoon black salt

1 tablespoon chaat masala

1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Instructions:


Wash and chop the mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, and onion.


In a blender, blend all the ingredients except water into a smooth paste.


Add water to the paste and blend again until everything is mixed well.


Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any coarse bits.


Add more water to adjust the consistency of the pani.


Taste the pani and adjust the seasoning as per your liking.


Chill the pani in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
